formation of contract
Upon our confirmation of your purchase a system generated email will be forwarded to you. A contract will then exist between Love Handbags and yourself. Under applicable law the formation of the contract will be deemed complete and your confirmation of the contract deemed received from the time of forwarding of the confirmation email. External factors outside our control which may prevent the email reaching you will not affect the completeness of the contract.
The laws of England and Wales govern the contract and the contract shall be deemed concluded in the United Kingdom. Love Handbags and yourself irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
cancellation of contract
Under the UK distance selling regulations, you may cancel the contract for purchase with Love Handbags at any stage from your placing the order to delivery.
If you require to cancel an order you should inform us promptly. If your item has not been dispatched we will manage this as a refund. If your item has been dispatched you will be requested to follow our customer returns process, meeting all criteria as within our returns policy
customers shipping address
You must provide us with your full billing address associated with your method of card payment, we regret we cannot at this time ship to an address other than this. If details which are forwarded by yourself which do not adhere to this, we retain the right to refund the payment and cancel the agreement between lovehandbags.co.uk and yourself.
free uk postage offer
To be eligible for this offer, all orders must be placed by a uk based customer and the card which the customer purchases the goods by is to be registered to the same address. Purchases can only be forwarded to UK addresses under the terms of this offer. If a purchase is made and payment received to have the item sent to an address outside the UK, we will subsequently invoice the purchaser for the amount required and upon receipt of funds will forward the purchase in good time. Under these terms if the purchaser does not supply the postage cost as requested we will cancel the order and refund all payments made. Love handbags reserve the right to omit the free postage offer at any time and with immediate effect.
returning an item
We accept items as returns and request that any item you wish to return should be within 14 days of receipt. Please see our full returns policy and our part exchange customer returns terms and conditions for further information.
UPS return service
Return collection of International goods damaged, not as described or faulty will be by UPS if delivered originally by this method. Parcels will be collected for return via a 3 attempt collection process. The UPS courier will call at the address of collection on three consecutive days, so to minimise the chances of missing the customer. We will inform you of this service and by agreeing to collection by this method you agree to be available so to provide the returning parcel to the courier on one of the 3 collection attempts. Thereafter love handbags cannot be responsible for collection and it is the senders responsibility to cover all costs in returning any item in adherence with our returns policy.
conformity of goods for sale
Love Handbags supply of descriptions, including photography and written specifications of its products upon this website are as accurate as possible. Each pre-loved item description discloses information particular to that item only. We may use either the original brand reference to colour, leather type etc or our own descriptive language which we feel is appropriate to the item. If we have several new items of the same design specification, we will supply information (upon the description page) for that item and state the amount of duplicates we also have in stock. Occasionally items may vary in colour tonal value and texture from the images supplied, due to technical limitations and we are not under these circumstances liable for misrepresentation of goods. We will always endeavor to describe any variation in the item description, so to assist the customer in their decision to purchase. On the rare occasion an item is misrepresented please refer to our returns policy.
conformity of goods to be part exchanged / purchased by love handbags
Descriptions, including photography and written specifications of products you own and wish to part exchange or to sell to Love Handbags will be validated only upon satisfactory receipt of the said goods by us. We appreciate your description may be as accurate as possible, however if the items are identified not as or different to the description as supplied by yourself we will have to return these to you on a no purchase and no contract basis. We are very keen regarding the pre-owned items we agree to part exchange / purchase and cannot commit to complete either transaction until in receipt of and the item /s in question have been fully authenticated and assessed upon our standards of condition.

Upon your acceptance of a lovehandbags.co.uk sell or part exchange quote (SYB), we request you pack your item/s in a mail proof box or package and print and enclose your lovehandbags.co.uk sell/part exchange quote within the parcel.
UK item/s must be forwarded to our customer care address, or address as supplied by our customer care team. Any parcel forwarded must be sent via Royal Mail signed for special delivery.
International parcels must be forwarded by a fully insured, traceable and signed for international method such as global priority or datapost etc.
We take full responsibility against loss or damage and the general safety of your items whilst in our care and will advise you accordingly upon our receipt of your item/s, and thereafter upon satisfactory inspection* of the goods, will forward an email specifying the status of the sale or part exchange.
All items received must be authentic, which will be fully verified upon receipt. If you cannot provide documentation to support authenticity, there may be an unspecified time period prior to satisfactory completion of the sale/ part exchange due to verification being sought from external experts.
Once we have verified the goods are as stated by yourself, payment will thereafter be provided via your prefered method, either paypal or a lovehandbags business cheque.
If you are part exchanging we request the price of any item being purchased as a part exchange with respect to a quote as supplied by ourselves, exceeds the cost of the quote itself. We will provide a paypal money request, or ask you to forward the balance via a personal cheque. Goods purchased as a part exchange will be dispatched promptly upon receipt of cleared funds.
Please be aware any item found to be counterfeit will be promptly returned to you via a signed for method and at your own cost, for which we will invoice yourself promptly thereafter. In line with current anti-counterfeiting policies any counterfeit items returned to yourself by lovehandbags should be promptly destroyed upon receipt.
We reserve the right to return any items to yourself if they do not comply with our standards of condition and authenticity. If authenticity cannot be verified by ourselves we will obtain an evaluation by the brand in question or external authentication specialist/s, which may take between 2 - 4 weeks from our receipt of your goods. We will advise you accordingly of this and if we envisage this process exceeding this time period.
returning a part exchange purchase
If for any reason you wish to return an item or multiple items purchased as a part exchange transaction, the purchase value of the returned goods will be given as a store credit, to be used within a 1 year period from issue. The store credit will be issued electronically to yourself and is non transferable. We do not offer a cash value amount for part exchanged items.
Love handbags reserve the right to cancel the part exchange agreement at any time and request the return of all goods associated with the part exchange transaction. Upon receipt of the returned goods love handbags will return the items forwarded by yourself in part exchange. All associated shipping costs must be met by the customer.
website offers: complimentary offers and incentives
We will on occasion apply offers, discounts or incentives relative to the purchase of goods upon lovehandbags.co.uk. If the item/s purchased to which a physical offer or incentive applies is subsequently returned for a refund minus the incentive or complimentary offer item, love handbags reserve the right to deduct the saleable value of the offer or incentive item from the refundable value of the goods purchased to which the offer applies.
customer special orders (cso)
We will on occasion agree to a discount for the combined purchase of goods. Upon agreement between ourselves and yourself, we will create a customer special order and place this upon lovehandbags.co.uk for your sole purchase. Each special order created will state a description, image and cost of each individual item to be purchased and the total value of the goods, with the discount as prior agreed.
Returning items purchased as a customer special order
If you wish to return any item/s purchased as special order goods for refund, we request all items are returned from each transaction to enable a full refund. We do not offer a cash refund value for individual items originally purchased as part of a special order. We will issue a store credit for the original special order value of the item wishing to be returned. This is to be used within a twelve month period from issue and is reviewable at such time upon request.
stock availability
Due to the individual or 'one off' nature of many of the items we have on our website, on the rare occasion more than one person may attempt to purchase the same product at approximately the same time. As it takes a brief period to complete the transaction, the item will remain on the website until the purchase is complete. Therefore payment may be taken a second time from another buyer, though the item in question will not be available for the second buyer.
We do apologise in advance if this happens and our customer care team will contact you to make you aware of the situation. We will do our best to locate the same model (if feasible and required) or will issue a refund promptly via the same method in which you originally paid. Under these circumstances Love Handbags customer care will always resolve to rectify the situation with an agreeable solution and in a timely manner.
