mulberry rare cherry red congo leather breton shoulder bag
Stunning and classic Mulberry shoulder bag crafted from glossy cherry red large print congo leather. This bag is an early sample of the later produced Breton bag, exhibiting a rare black embossed mulberry tree stamp upon the front leather plaque blason and slight variations on the standard Breton. It is carried by two long rolled leather handles and fastens with a full length double ended zipper. Internally the bag is lined in traditional tartan/plaid fabric with a zipped pocket to the rear. All hardware is solid brass and the base is finished with four brass feet to prevent damage to the leather.
condition: gently loved with minimal signs of use including slight surface scratches and rain spotting, which shows as slight raised areas to the leather surface.
